Ecology Impact Assessment
An Ecology Impact Assessment or EcIA, looks to inform on the impact of species within the development site.
| Species that might be
considered are: - Ants (yellow meadow ant right) - Voles - Bats - Newts - Owls A baseline survey will be compiled to assess whether these and other species are present on site, then mitigation methods will be suggested in the Impact Assessment Report. Species are going extinct at present 1000 times faster than they have at any point in the planets history. |
